What would you give up to be thin?
4,300 people surveyed even said they would rather lose a limb (5 per cent), or go blind (4 per cent) than put on some extra pounds.
This is madness, mannnn…..What is happening to these people?
Thirty per cent of respondents said they would rather be divorced than obese; 25 per cent said they would prefer not being able to have children; 15 per cent said they would rather be severely depressed. Slightly fewer said they would rather be an alcoholic (14 per cent).

I don’t know about others but I think it is crazy to let our lives circle around our body image.
But I do wonder when I look at a very, very fat woman. I do ask myself. Why didn’t she do something when she was half a size smaller? But then again, maybe a lot of thin, skinny people also wonder why didn’t I do something when I was half size smaller?
I certainly will not go out of my way to be thin. Definitely no stomach stapling, liposuction, plastic surgery or pills that will kill my liver. Life is much happier when I am happy with whatever size I am.
But there are times when I would wishfully stare at those old, Renaissance or whatever era that is, paintings which depict women with some curves. You know…those little dimples on the butt? I wish those will come back in fashion one day.
So, what would you give up to be thin?

Life is too short…God made us in all shapes & sizes for a reason.
I’ve recently put on 2kgs after losing 5 kgs due to depression…I was upset at first…but now I think to myself…”Hey, the man who loves me will now have more place to love.”
Besides as Billy Joel sings “…I love you just the way you are…”
A man should choose the woman he loves by the weight of her love for him…not by her body size or weight.
Likewise, Lilian, I’m happy with whatever size I am.
