It is an old movie starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. Almost all the movie critiques have nothing nice to say about this romance movie but heck, who cares what they say. It is a nice movie to me because at that time, Whitney Houston’s songs were my daily diet. Kevin Costner is Whitney’s bodyguard and they have this attraction but weren’t meant for each other. Back then, like 20 years ago, white and black relationship wasn’t that publicly shown on movie or TV. So, the forbidden love was quite a magnetic draw there.
There is one scene which shows Kevin Costner’s swords and he picked up one samurai. It wasn’t shown in the movie but we knew they made love or something like that because Kevin played with the samurai is that manner.
Until today, there is this one song which I can still sing quite well about some love affairs that shouldn’t have happened. It goes something like, “A few stolen moment is all that we share, you got your family….” Oh well, I can’t remember much more.
