What’s your thoughts on them? Do you think they are the source of all evil? The one which caused us to be in debts? I don’t think so. I have only one credit card and never want to take another eventhough a Platinum Card was offered to my hubby. We don’t see the need because every month end, we definitely completely pay for all our purchases.

The only reason we have credit card is to avoid the risk of carrying cash. However, there was a few occassion when we really need to get hold of something and cash was coming in the next month or two. So, we did zapped the card beyond our payment limit.

But with only one card and not several credit cards, we never spend beyond our limit. It is not a healthy way to do that eventhough there are 0% credit cards. Once we are trapped into it, we have problem getting out. However, they do have 0% balance transfers which do helped many people get out of sticky situation. I have one relative like that who are chronic with his over expenditure but then, he has only one kid and appearances in all important for him due to the nature of his job.

For me, I like to remain out of debt permanently.
