Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey and Psyllium husks
Wokay, I am going to share bits and pieces of the icky stuffs I take which though doesn’t make me the healthiest person but it does make a difference in my lifestyle.
Long ago, after I had my baby, I got this terrible joint paints I experienced in the early mornings when I wake up. My bones creaked and cracked and straightening them is agonising unless I do it slowly. So, a nurse told me about apple cider vinegar and honey. At that time, I was caring for my pre-mature baby in the hospital and I didn’t manage to take good care of myself during the post-natal period. Within 10 days, I was already driving, after guzzling pain killer. I hardly have a full day rest as I was running between hospital, home and babysitter (for my older children). Hence, I have no one to blame but my own bones.
I read up a bit on apple cider vinegar and it got me hooked because of the promises it made. I hate the smell, the taste and even the ugly look of it. But I have no option so I religiously took it. I bought only those sold in the supermarkets and not those fancy brands from the MLM.
And what do you know? My joint paints disappeared. Well, not immediately but after a while. And I dropped the horrible drink since then.
So, recently, I Organic Samm of Organic Parade mentioned this again but with a combination of Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey and Psyllium husks. I had seen those husks being sold in huge quantities at organic shops and had wondered what are they. Samm told me it is good for the bowel system and clears the colon. So, being the curious cat, I start to religiously drink the horrible drink again. Now, with husk which make it even more icky.
But like that say, no pain, no gain. So, yeah, I have no problem with the bowel, I have clearer skin and I lose weight. Of course, drink that only will not make you thinner but if you get rid of those stuffs in your colon as in detox, you will see a difference. Ready to try it? Sticky, gooey, smelly, ugly, sour, mucousy drink every morning, late afternoon and night?

These 3 ingredients are still sitting in my kitchen while I am figuring out when I have the guts to gobble them religiously – daily. If what you have experience is as good as you wrote, ahem… I will goto kitchen afterwards to try my first swallow.
Thank you for your motivation.
I bought apple cider vinegar since last year but couldn’t bear to gulp it down my throat..maybe with honey it will help. The smell stinks badly, one time it spilled on the dining table and I accused my husband for farting like stinky egg..
Since you said it clears skin, maybe it’ll give stronger reason for me to try this year..hehehe..BTW, should I dilute them or how?
MQ – Yes, you need to use water. NOrmally, I use about half cup warm water with one tablespoon of honey, apple cider vinegar and the husk.
agnes – I use the vinegar in cooking and also making salad oil. By mixing a little with olive oil. Hope you get better bowel movement = cleaner body = better skin.
