Do you know anything about insurance?

I find the above question awfully funny. Well, I do not know much about insurance but I certainly know a lot about guys who sell or deal with insurance. Firstly, it was my ex-boyfriend’s neighbour when I was 21 years old. You see, I used to take a bus and walked quite a distance to the boyfriend’s house after my work. He usually was still at work so I would need to walk to find his mama who was awfully fond of me.

Fate had it that this neighbour of his would happened to drive by and he gave me a lift to the boyfriend’s house in his black Ford. Well, like all romantic story goes, I ended up getting my life insurance from him and sparks fly and the ex-boyfriend and family were history. But that’s not the end of it. The relationship with the insurance guy never took off ‘cos I was probably finding excuses to break off my relationship with the bf. After mission accomplished, we went separate ways as well.

That’s not the end of it. Along came another guy and this time, he was at my office selling insurance. And that one sold me the marriage certificate as well. It came bundled with a home insurance for the homes we have built over the last 22 years. Yeah, I married the insurance man. He is also my travel insurance, protecting me from all calamities in this life journey.

Now, he is no longer selling insurance. But if I need any advices on motor insurance, I can always find another insurance guy. Let’s say I have affinity with insurance men. Lots of it. So, if you ask me if I know insurance, I will tell you – Hell, I know a lot about insurance because men just fall off the skies to tell me about it. Even if I need a pet insurance, someone is bound to wag his tail, look at me with puppy eyes and tell me about it.
