I was thumbing through some old magazines at a coffee joint the other day and heard about this book. I didn’t jot down the exact title or the author’s name. Now, I am regretting it because the more I think about it, the more I like the theory. It is indeed true. I rarely see a fat, obese, unkept looking Japanese woman. And though most of the expats I meet here wear conservative clothings, they don’t look haggard or old. Even without make-up, they look awfully radiant.
So, do you think it has to do with their diet? They don’t take much oily, fried food. They eat mostly raw fishes. Well, as least that’s what I think they eat? And they drink loads of green tea.
Because of this obsession of not growing old, growing fat, I am asking for Japanese meals whenever possible. Hubby gives the killer stare because it usually costs a bomb. But who cares….
