If there is one piece of traditional costume that I wish to wear most, it is the Indian saree. So far, I haven’t have the luck to try it but I am sure I will love the colours and texture of it. Do you notice how colourful and delicate the materials are? Sometimes, during festivals, I will stand on the side to admire these sarees worn by the old and young Indian women. They are soooo lovely.

Wearing sarees need lots of curves to enhance the fashion. If you are stick thin, it some doesn’t look quite as attractive. Sometimes, even with the flabs showing, the Indian women still look attractive. It is funny how sarees enhance curves and flabs.

So let me make a mental note that I wish to wear a saree someday. Hopefully before I am gather too many rolls of fat because I wouldn’t dare to bare the midriff if I do! :P

Sarees actually look very good on Chinese women, my Indian roomate used to lend me hers, and i really like how it looked on me. But hor, sarees make you automatically behave and walk in a very feminine way.:-)
