Did Paula Abdul really trip on her dog or was just drunk?

I had been following the American Idol on and off and dislike Paula but love Simon’s wicked remarks. I just can’t stand Paula neutral stand and her matronly personality. The way I see it, she is 70% drunk when she was judging.

So, during the final, there was some chats about her broken nose. I didn’t catch the earlier part and wasn’t aware why she broke her nose. My first impression was she was too drunk to walk straight, tripped and fell. She broke her nose but with make-up, you can barely notice it on TV.

However, according to the news, she broke her nose beause she tripped on her Chihuahua. Hmmm…
