I just realised that I hardly wear skirts for a long time.  When you have little baby and small children, you need flexibility and lots of freedom to bend anyway we are needed.  Whether it is to catch a falling kid, evading spilt drinks, balancing stroller, shopping bags and baby or other gymnastic acts, one needs a pant.

So, I wore a skirt today and my four years old probably just notice for the first time.  He said, “You look like woman.”

I replied, “But I am a woman.”

He insisted, “You look like girlfriend.”

My other son came by and overheard the conversation.  So, I asked him to translate what my kid is saying.  LOL.  We think what my four years old wanted to say is ‘You really look like a woman and not a genderless super human who seems to do everything except looking like a woman.”
