This is way weird!  I posted something and it doesn’t appear.  Ooops…have I written it on the wrong blog?

Now, I was saying that it is hard being a girl now.  In this decade of MTV, frail and fair looking Japanese actress,  skin and bones models, one has to live up to that standard.  It wasn’t this bad when I was in my twenties in the 80s.  We practically have very few models, actresses to live up to.  Annie Lennox with her half male and half female looks isn’t exactly drop dead gorgeous.

So, anything about us girls back then are passable.  However, I noticed that the girls in this era need to have the super slim, super fit body to be part of the ‘in’ crowd.  Hey, we don’t even have ads for hair removals, slimming, face shaping and all those crappy stuffs.

Therefore, thank goodness I am born a few decades earlier.
