Shopping Cart – the online kind

My friend, Mabel is a florist who works from her home. She is single and in her late 30s. What I admire about her is her ability to run her business single-handedly with very little help. Sometimes, she even deliver the flowers herself. However, she just met a guy and he is like the dream guy. Mabel told me that he has given her money to expand her florist business and she is all excited about it. Mabel wants to open an online shop and asked me for ideas on how to make it happened.

I asked my techie friends and he told me it is just basically setting up a website and installing software to deal with the online shopping. I have seen and used this shopping cart myself. What I didn’t know is how easy it is to install them and get it running. I told Mabel about it and she is all ready to open her online flower shop with her boyfriend. *sigh* Romance does come late for Mabel but at least she is so happy now. A shop to call her own and a man who made it happen.
