Women Only!
Belle shared with me a post from her blog about ovarian cancer. It is very timely because I had been procrastinating about my long overdue pap-smear test. I had been meaning to go to my ob-gyn but the thought of queueing up with pregnant women doesn’t sound too inviting to me. After so many rounds, I just hate sitting there and wait for an eternity for the ob-gyn.
Moreover, when I am not pregnant, I am not very excited about opening the legs for the very handsome, Indian, Bollywood look alike, male ob-gyn. If I am pregnant, then, bring it on! No problemo. Vagina scan sounds good. Otherwise, that speculum aka duck’s bill looks menacing to me. Furthermore, the ob-gyn will need to sit right smack, face to face with your nether region because he needs to do the procedure.
Now, I seriously need to go find a woman ob-gyn and get it done. No more waiting. No more, let’s wait for another month. BTW, pap smear is best done when you have just finished your period.
