Disorganised is a way of life

I have a little over 24 hour and I just discovered that I have a lector’s duty on Sunday morning. Of course, it is no big deal to many people as they can prepare a reading within a few minutes notice.  However, I am not one of those blessed people.  I am but a naive, green horn Christian.  I have to take a week to prepare my readings because they are awfully hard as the Old Testament seems to go like a train without any stop.

Now, can I say I am in deep shit because I didn’t check my roster earlier?  I have no one to blame but myself.  Never mind, I have faith.  I know Jesus won’t smack me.  Spare me, Lord.  For the next 24 hours, I am going to read and pray till I get what Wisdom is trying to tell the people.

I think at the end of this, I learnt faith.  Never mind that my life is still disorganised.  I am used to it.  I hate worrying about things too far away.
