Penang Cheshire Home

I was at the flea market and found the Penang Cheshire Home selling their things there. It is a home for the physically and mentally challenged folks. They have some sort of a day care, therapy classes and also houses some folks there. These folks then make handicrafts items for sale.

I bought the earrings from them. It is not exactly nice but I don’t have the heart not to buy something. The earring is made of Chinese knots and do look much more nicer in real life because it is a deeper purple and not what is shown in the photo.

I only have $10 with me in my hand LOL so I bought the earring for $5, a bookmark and a tiny gift box. Later on, my son wanted a toy dog and we got it for him at $20.

Talking about this, it kinds of make me rather emotional. When my #4 son was around, the Penang Cheshire Home is one of the place that I know I will may need to take him to. The place is one of the few places where they have the facilities for children with physical and mental disabilities. You see, he was diagnosed with some form of disabilites based on his brain scan. But sigh….today, I would rather be part of the home, taking care of that son than to be a donor. What to do……life is like that.
