Christmas in Bath
My two sisters-in-law just returned from Manchester and I had dinner with them. Their tales about their trip almost killed me. I am so envious, i.e. They are rather elderly and both are grandmas already. So they can afford to fly off to UK without any baggage attached. By baggage, I mean kids towing along.
I wish I have that kind of freedom. When I saw those photos they took, I think Bath is the most beautiful place on earth. They showed me photos of the Christmas markets and looking at those little cherubims, seraphim and Christmas tree baubles can make me bawls. Oh why didn’t I thought of asking them to buy a bunch for me!
The in-laws didn’t stay in any hotels because their children are working there and they have their own apartments. They merely bunked in with their kids. If I go, I don’t think I want to spoil a perfect holiday like that bunking in with relatives. I will want to be treated with some privacy and luxuries. Holiday apartments will definitely be my choice instead of some packed and crammed apartments. After all, if I had spent that amount of money in airfares, certainly I can afford a little for a nice stay, isn’t it?
