I think not many women can safely says they know their worth. I have seen so many who short-changed themselves by sticking to unworthy men. They feel they are not worth it. They settle for the second best. They do not know when to call it quits. They keep on putting their esteem to be trodden by these bastards and they call it love.

Sometimes, I think these women have been brought up with a lack of self-worth injected into them. They didn’t learn about saying no to being second fiddle. They will suffer silently for the sake of their exterior image, caring very little for their inner feelings.

To them, I hope they will one day wake up and find the strength to do what they really want to do. Sometimes, God plays a part here and if they have searched hard enough, I am sure God will give them the little nudge to go in the right direction. That’s why it is so important to instil in our daughters especially, that they must love themselves, value themselves or no one else will.

Don’t be the needy woman.
