Getting all melancholy over Christmas
For some strange reason, I do not have the need to splurge and spend money on Christmas. Maybe I am answering the Pope’s call to not get sucked into commercialism and materialism. Or maybe there is nothing to be very happy. Maybe I have not been that deep in faith. Or could it be due to hubby’s tight schedule and we have very little time to spend as a family.
He has been working till late and on weekends, my children and I have been busy with churchy stuffs while on Sundays, the time is filled with more churchy stuffs and his game of badminton. I hope things will settle and we can get back into routine. So, I shall just let this year Christmas passes by with little celebration.
Maybe next year, I will find more time and who knows, I may even take up some online education course?
