I watched the compressed version of the Oscars on NTV7 and it was so much easier than to sit through the live telecast this morning. The morning telecast featured the red carpet walk and all the interviews by Ryan Seacrest.
The best actor oscar is won by Daniel Day Lewis for the movie For there will be blood. During his acceptance speech, Daniel Day Lewis pays tribute to Heath Ledger. I embed the video above. No wonder so many people are wonder if Daniel Day Lewis is gay. Well, I don’t know and I don’t care.
But Daniel Day Lewis did kiss George Clooney and he said he has to kiss someone. You can view the Daniel Day-Lewis kiss on MTV. You go figure.

Well, I’m so glad that you say you don’t know and don’t care whether Daniel Day_Lewis is gay. We can thank whatever gods we may, or may not, believe in that these days, the colour of your skin, your sexuality, your religious affiliations, or lack of them, matter less and less when it comes to recognising a person’s excellence. One can only feel heartened by this slow progress towards ‘seeing people for what they are’ and staying blind to prejudices.
