It is the polling day today. Finally, the day has arrived. I am glad it is going to be over because I am beginning to get obssessed with it. I want to win. It is no longer an election but MY election. It is about what I want and who I want to win. It is about what we want as a nation. It is not a nice feeling, really. I prefer to remain the ignorant voter who just follow blindly. It is not a nice feeling to pine for my favourite party and it feels horrible to think what will happen if they lose horribly. OMG, I must not allow that thought to creep in.
That’s why I sucks at playing any game of chance. I want to win all the time and I feel rotten when I don’t. I cannot face losing a game. That’s why backgammon is not me. I will be so obsessed and bended on winning all the time I think the whole thing will consume me. Still, backgammon is certainly a good pastime if one doesn’t have that super egoistic ‘I must win all the time’ attitude like mine.
So, if you can deal with it, then, you may have a good time with the game because you can download the backgammon software on your PC and play. As I said, I will probably die of tension and disappointment if I got involve in the backgammon game as firstly, I do not know the backgammon rules and hence, will lose big time if I take up backgammon for money.
Anyway, ladies. Wake early, say a little prayer and vote wisely. Happy voting day!
