I went to my dentist the other day for a crown job. I had root canal for about a month already and she insisted that I get a crown eventhough my molar has been filled. So it was just a quick job of getting the mould done for the crown.

Since I was already there, I asked her how much it will costs me to get a teeth whitening as I saw so many posters on her clinic walls. The amount she quoted almost made me faint. I can’t afford it and I won’t tell you how much it costs except that it is sooo expensive to get teeth whitening treatment.

The assurance she gave me was that the teeth whitening treatment from the dentist is a guaranteed one as they will know the right shades for teeth whitening and also ensure that no hard is done to our teeth. I asked her if those celebrity teeth whitener I saw advertised by the celebrities works. She refused to comment and gave a smile. She asked me why would I want a celebrity sexy teeth whitener and whether I am a celebrity?

I suppose those celebrity sexy teeth whitener doesn’t work then? The product for teeth whitening sold online and the teeth whitening treatment by the dentist differs too much so I am not convince anymore.

Now, I only need to go back to the dentist for my crown in a week’s time. That crown alone costs me $500. The root canal was $400 and that means with some consultation fees, that freaking tooth of mine costs $1,000. I am broke and yet, I have nothing to show. Not even a set of celebrity sexy smile with a row of celebrity sexy teeth. So sad. :( The molar is hidden at the back of my mouth and it costs me $1,000.

May I ask where you did your crown? My dentist wants to charge RM850 (only the crown). Times like these, we have to find affordable places to patronise. Thanks

Kuan – My dentist is Dr. Ang of Ang Dental Clinic in Pulau Tikus. Where Kassim Nasi Kandar is. She is one of the few dentist who can also do teeth implants.

Is your cost RM850 inclusive of root canal? Normally, if your teeth is not perfect, they need to do a root canal before putting the crown. That costs me RM450 so a tooth is about RM1K. o_O

Thanks so much. Pulau Tikus is rather far as I live in KL. Maybe that’s why the rates are so different. I paid RM850 for the root canel treatment as well! Anyway thanks

hi….i tried the celebrity teeth whitener and i think its a really good product…i paid 29.99 for one, but, the ad offered 3 for a special price..i just bought the one tube to try and see if it worked for me…when i was pleased with the results i told several friends about your product… i went back online to order more and was shocked at the cost…$20.00 a hike at a time for one tube is now out of my range…
    thank you, nanette
