Why are there so many soap operas in the afternoon?

I am tired of sitting here blogging and reading up on the latest political news in Malaysia. So, I thought why not I take a break and check what’s good on TV. I surf channel after channel and all they have on hot afternoons like these are just soap operas. Those soap operas where the people never seem to die even after decades.

The one that I hate most is the Bold and Beautiful. Such corny craps and yet, they have their followers. I also hate those talk shows by Oprah Winfrey and that Ellen something show. However, I think I am the odd one because there must be plenty of viewers. That’s why such shows last for so many decades and still going strong.

So, I got back to my computer and surf around to find something to buy. I am looking for an lcd monitor for my son’s computer and wonder if I should buy online or get to the shop?
