I always have several tubes of lip gloss in my handbag. The funny thing is they normally have those buy one, get one free offer so I ended up with more tubes than I can finish using. So, I keep one each in my five handbags that I use alternately.

I don’t have a liking for any particular brand because they are all equally sticky, iccky and messy. I use them because it gives shine to my lips like those celebrity sexy lips plumper without the bee sting sensation. It is good to apply a layer of lip gloss on top of my regular lipstick because it keeps the lips moist.

However, when I am home without make-up, I will opt for these tiny jars of petroleum jelly or lip balm. I got the above which is grapefruit flavour. I have grapefruit body mist from crabtree and evelyn so I smell like a giant grapefruit.

It is good to have that layer of protection for our lips because if we don’t, we are going to get wrinkles around the mouth. Ewws….I would like to slow that down. Moreover, having dry lips are rather ugly with the skin peeling and some women even bite till they bled and that leaves dark scars on the lips. Ouch, don’t ever do that. You may not have celebrity sexy lips but don’t make your mouth looks like some witch.

After getting a nice, full sexy celebrity lips, remember to keep those teeth white as well. If you cannot afford celebrity sexy teeth whitener, at least find a lipstick shade that suits you. Check that the colour tone doesn’t make your already yellowish teeth even yellower. Tones like purplish, pinkish and any blue tones lipsticks will cause your teeth to look yellower. So, if you don’t have celebrity white teeth, find shades like peaches, apricot, corals because those lipsticks have yellowish tones and they actually enhance your smile.
