Buying gold again?

My friend was boasting about her recent purchase of more gold. She keep whining how gold prices have increased and how expensive it is now. She just want to show off, actually. She knows that I am too broke to adorn myself with gold jewelleries. So, she was trying to rub it in.

Actually, I am not as silly as her. Why should I buy gold and adorn myself? Walking around in this crime ridden land with gold is like a piece of hamburger walking in the backlanes with starving dogs. If I want to buy gold, I will go to companies that help me to invest in them, safekeeping it for me and store them privately so that no one knows.
