These past weeks, I have seen so many sick people to make me realise how fragile we are. Each time I go to visit my relative in the hospital, I had to pass by a lot of wards to get there. It is a public hospital and there is absolutely no privacy at all as the beds are all opened for curious eyes.

Some of these patients are lucky to have loving and caring relatives to take care of them. Some are not and I have seen a few struggling to get to the loo with their drips and all. It is a sad fact of life that each of us have face someday.

I think ultimately, one has to have some savings and good insurance plans to ensure that the remaining years of their lives are spent in comfort. They need all the props and medical equipment they can afford to help them around. You can find some of these and including shower chairs on this site. So many things that I never know we need until I finally see the real world in the hospital.
