The financial experts are advocating buying going as investment. But I am not so sure anymore because the time to buy gold bullion seems like a little too late.

Gold prices have shot so high now, I doubt I even have the money to buy a simple gold jewellery. Back in those good old times, I could afford to buy 99.9 percent gold chain which feels heavy on the neck.

Now, I dare not even wear gold jewelry because it is so expensive and a sitting duck for snatch thieves and muggers. I have a few pieces which cost a lot now.

If only I have the vision to buy gold many decades ago, I would be very rich now, eh?

Recently Wordpress which is the blogging platform for this blog seems to keep churning out upgrade after upgrade.

Right now, the latest version is 2.9.2.  I just upgraded it with a click of the button.  Unfortunately, now I cannot seem to delete or upgrade all the plugins.  I have seven plugins which cannot be deleted using the one click.

That means, I need to use direct delete from the server which is quite a chore.  Sigh…I hate blog maintenance.

I have left this blog unattended for a while because I wanted to take a big break from blogging.  So, it is not exactly neglected but rather, left to simmer.

I personally feel one shouldn’t push too hard when it comes to blogging because it can drain the creative juices out of the blogger.  Then, the poor blog will turned into a dry blog with stale issues.

So, that’s why the blog took a long leave.  Just like how we have to take a holiday once in a while to re-charge.

In times like these when prices of things are going up and yet, interest rates for savings are dropping, it is very depressing to see my savings not increasing much. I just checked and noticed the bank is only giving me 2.35% per annum. That’s one crummy returns for my fixed deposits.

So, I am going to spread out my investments into foreign exchange, gold and mutual trusts. Then, there is the investment in gold coins and silver coins which a lot of people are talking about. Some of these coins are rare old coins and they fetch a lot of money.

Recently, I notice the number of thick skin people who never stop commenting eventhough I openly dissed them. Then, there are those who keep coming back day after day eventhough I intentionally skip replying their comments.

Though the obvious had been shown to them, they just don’t get it. The reason they keep yapping is because they want the link. I can sniff them from miles away. So, after enduring these people, I finally posted that I hate those people using my blog to gain their SEO.

Now, now one dares to come to me with a name like Mesothelioma Help anymore. They better use their nickname or don’t even bother.

I just returned from a funeral wake. Now, have to prepare my things for tomorrow morning because the course I am taking starts at 9.30 am. That means I got to wake early, get the kids’ bags pack because I won’t be around to send them to class in church in the afternoon.

Then, it looks like I need to go to church early on Sunday morning because I won’t be able to go on Saturday evening or Sunday at 10 am. Yawn….Looks like it is going to be a long, long week ahead. With the festival coming up, it will be non-stop running around.

Back to the funeral, it is kind of sad to attend one funeral after another. Just yesterday, I found the video I took from the previous funeral I attended. The young man was killed in a car accident. Sigh…so sad to see all these senseless deaths. I hope they will be able to hire some motorcycle accident attorneys and get justice done.

At the end of the year, the weather is exceptionally dry. I need to slather lots and lots of moisturiser, lip balm and skin care. However, this is not as dry as those countries that experience colder climate.

There was this one time when I was in Hongkong and the skin on my legs cracked and almost bleed. I didn’t notice it until there were lines and the skin feels like breaking apart. I had to find a doctor to get some intensive care for the skin and couldn’t use soap to bath for a long time.

Now I wonder, if I am continously exposed to this sort of climate, will I dry up like a prune, all wrinkly and dry? Maybe I even need solution for vaginal dryness. Bwahahaha….OK, I am rambling. I know these are two different things.
