I am through with ranting about this relative who has liver cancer. After so many days, he is still at home and refused to check into a hospital for his liver cancer treatment.

My hubby has called him several times to explain that waiting at home to get better is not the answer. The chap said he will go to the hospital after he feels better. Hubby told him that there is a problem with his liver and he will not get better. Today, hubby got his wife to see his friend who is a doctor. The dear friend gave it to them straight in the face - “The only thing that will result from waiting is death.”

Now, the wife too is paranoid if she has contracted some liver diseases as well. She heard that it is contagious and hence, she is asking about supplements to help keep a healthy liver.

We hate to tell her that one cannot start some liver detox program after they are diagnosed with liver cancer. Yet, she is stubborn in wanting to find health supplements for herself . So, I told her to look around and ask people about it. I have no knowledge and hence, not able to verify if things like lipovox or any of those liver detox can help.

It is better not to give them false hope.

A guy who recently contracted liver cancer has got everyone very edgy about their health. He was found to have liver cancer and the outcome is not very good. He is a heavy drinker, chain smoker and I notice he loves to eat groundnuts when he drinks. I understand that peanuts have mould that can cause liver cancer.

So, now, everyone is asking about liver detox. My other relatives are asking what is the best liver detox and is there any supplement for liver detox. Well…I am not sure if liver detox is going to help if they don’t eat healthily. So many of them loves all those preserved foods and they do drink heavily. No amount of liver detox is going to help, right?

But I guess some works better than others. I am sure they have done extensive market research to find out what works and what don’t and those companies that are reputable surely has something for this purpose.
