I was listening and watching Youtube and somehow stumbled upon Amy Winehouse. She won so many Grammy Awards the other day while she was still in rehab. And while winning those coveted awards, she was losing her teeth at the same time.

I will not use the photo of her hideous set of teeth. It is sad how such a talented young woman can waste her life away to drugs that way. She was reported to snort drugs and that cause her gums to recede and making her teeth fall off.

No amount of dental work can put her looks back. But I hope she will at least seek a dentist to get those missing teeth implanted and clean up all those gaps. I always have several tubes of lip gloss in my handbag. The funny thing is they normally have those buy one, get one free offer so I ended up with more tubes than I can finish using. So, I keep one each in my five handbags that I use alternately.

I don’t have a liking for any particular brand because they are all equally sticky, iccky and messy. I went to my dentist the other day for a crown job. I had root canal for about a month already and she insisted that I get a crown eventhough my molar has been filled. So it was just a quick job of getting the mould done for the crown.

Since I was already there, I asked her how much it will costs me to get a teeth whitening as I saw so many posters on her clinic walls. The amount she quoted almost made me faint. I can’t afford it and I won’t tell you how much it costs except that it is sooo expensive to get teeth whitening treatment.

The assurance she gave me was that the teeth whitening treatment from the dentist is a guaranteed one as they will know the right shades for teeth whitening and also ensure that no hard is done to our teeth.
